Mentoring

Dharma Mentoring with devon + nico

For practitioners seeking wisdom and presence in the midst of life's complexity

How We Work Together

Individual Sessions: 30-minute one-on-one meetings, typically once per month, where we explore meditation insights, textual study, daily life challenges, retreat integration, and deepening realization of the Buddha's teachings.

Personalized Guidance: Each session is tailored to your unique practice, life situation, and current challenges. Whether you're navigating a career transition, working with difficult family dynamics, or integrating insights from recent retreat experience, we meet you exactly where you are.

Between Sessions: Access to our Refuge of Belonging WhatsApp community, weekly dharma talks, monthly online dharma gatherings, quarterly classes, and other community events to support your ongoing practice.

What Students Experience

Our mentoring sessions help you develop:

  • Steadiness and presence in the midst of stress, reactivity, and strong emotions

  • Clarity and wise relationship to your own mind, conflict, and uncertainty

  • Integration of practice and life—from formal meditation to communication, work, and community

Contribution

30-minute sessions: $60–$120 sliding scale per session
We work with committed students regardless of financial circumstances.

Getting Started

Mentoring is most nourishing when it grows out of shared practice and community. A simple way to begin is by joining a few of our teachings, so we can get to know one another in the natural rhythm of dharma. Ongoing participation in offerings helps this work stay rooted and alive. You can find our upcoming events here.

When you feel ready, send us a short description (~200 words) of your dharma history and current practice. Please let us know whether you’d prefer to work with devon or nico, and we’ll set up an initial conversation.
